Tutti Designs - Nativity Bell

Happy Monday, my friends!

I'm here with a new Tutti Designs DT share!

This beautiful die is called Nativity Bell.
As soon as I saw it, an idea popped into my head.
I didn't know if it would work out but I knew I'd have fun trying!
It ended up working out very nicely! :o)

Here's what I made:

Here's the die I used:

Here's how I did it:

I began by cutting the die four times.
A solid paper will display the intricate details best.
Also, both the front and back of the paper will be showing,
so keep that in mind when choosing your paper.
I used a solid red shimmer cardstock.

Next, score the die right down the center.
Do this two times with the right side up,
and two times with the wrong side up.

Here's what all four die-cuts look like:

Using a glue pen, and matching the die-cuts up carefully,
adhere two of the dies together.
Repeat with the other two dies.
You now have two pieces that look like this:

Here's what it looks like so far:

Now adhere these two pieces together, and it looks like this.
I used a makeup sponge, and inked the ornament edges with gold ink.

It's a little early to have my tree set up, so I improvised! :o)
I added a metallic gold ribbon to the top for hanging.

Materials Used
Papers: Recollections - Holiday Shimmer Cardstock;
Die: Tutti Designs - Nativity Bell.

Flourishes LC - Home

Hello, my friends!

I wanted to show you the project I'm sharing on the Flourishes LC blog today.

This is an older set that is still available in the store.
It's called "On the Porch" and you can find it  HERE.

It's a wonderful stamp set with several images and sentiments.
I used only one of the sentiments on my card.

I stamped the sentiment on a die-cut heart.
Then I used an assortment of dies and punches to create my scene.

The corrugated house and tree add great texture to my card.
Then I popped the top of the heart up on foam tape to give it extra dimension.

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Ink: Memento - Tuxedo Black;
Jillibean Soup - Corrugated Houses;
Pearls: Doodlebug Mini Pearls - Red;
Die: Spellbinders Nestabilities - Classic Hearts,

Welcome back to another Little Blue Buttons Stamp share.
Today is Crafty Monday,
and I'm sharing another wonderful recent new release!
This is my final post for Little Blue Button Stamps!
My term is up and I've made the difficult decision to step down.
BIG thanks to Olga! It was a real pleasure to be on her team!
You'll be seeing more of these sweet images from me though.
They're too much fun to play with! :o)

This image is called "Panda With Balloon" and you'll find it HERE.

He looks as happy as his balloon, doesn't he?
For this card, I asked my husband what colour the balloon should be.
He said orange, and I took it from there.
I layered the image on some pretty orange papers,
and then added a multi-loop bow.
I finished it off with a few sparkly orange sequins!

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock,
GCD Studios - Melody Ross Soul Food;

Tutti Designs - Deer Family Tree

Hello, my friends!

I'm here with a new Tutti Designs DT share!
This time I'm using the beautiful "Deer Family Tree" from the July release.
You can find it in the shop HERE.

Have I mentioned how much I love these dies?
They are so wonderful to create with!
I cut this beautiful tree out of white adhesive backed glitter foam.
All the bits came out as smooth as could be.
I reserved the three snowflakes and placed them on the card base.

Here you can see the pretty glitter on the foam.
The card base is a really pretty green shimmer cardstock.

I added a pretty sheer ribbon bow.
Then I stamped the sentiment on white cardstock,
and cut it into a banner shape.
I gave it a bit of a curl and added it to the bottom of the card!

Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Holiday Shimmer Paper Pad;
Stamp: CTMH - Sow Flurries;
Ink: CTMH - Ponderosa Pine;
Ribbon: Celebrate It;

Die: Tutti Designs - Deer Family Tree.

Cards and More Shop DT - Friendship Card

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project made with products from the Cards and More Shop .

This fun card design is from one of the Dutch Doobadoo Templates.
I layered each section with this pretty decorative paper.
The template makes it so easy!

I die-cut the tag, and stamped it with a stamp from my stash.
I punched some flowers from the papers, and added a rhinestone center.

Here it is open:

I added another stamp to the center panel, along with two rhinestones.

Isn't that a fun design?
All the papers were both tool and ink distressed.

These were the products used from the Cards and More Shop :
