Tutti Designs - Fun Gift Idea

Hello, my friends!

I'm here with a new Tutti Designs DT share!

This week I am using the beautiful "Holiday Spirit Tree"
that you can find right HERE.

I've come up with a project that would make a lovely gift.

I began by making a small gift bag out of cardstock.
I adhered the die-cut to the front of it,
and added a few of the cut out snowflakes.

Then I went on to make four cards to go into the gift bag.
I cut 4 each of an A2 card front, and the tree dies.

I adhered the tree to the center of the card front.

Then I ran it through the an embossing folder.
Any small, all-over design, will work beautifully.

The embossing always stretches the paper out a bit.
After embossing, I trimmed it down just a touch,
so that the A2 Card base framed it.
Then I adhered it to the card base.

I bundled the four cards together with four envelopes,
and tied a ribbon around them.
They fit perfectly into the gift bag! :o)

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Cardstock;
Embossing Folder: Stampin' Up -
Punch: Fiskars Border Punch;
Ribbon: Offray.

I did some simple layering and punching,

Digi Choosday at Polkadoodles

Hello, my friends!

It's time for Digi Choosday at Polkadoodles!

Every Tuesday is Digi Choosday!
This means you can visit the blog to get a special discount code that is only available for 24 hours.

There is also a fun new challenge every Tuesday,
with a wonderful prize to be won!
The challenge is always "Anything Goes" with an optional twist.
The twist this week is "Use Something New".

For my card I used the Winnie Fruit Punch Collection.
It's such a fun collection!

My card was made using Design Sheet 5 from the Collection.
You can also buy this Design Sheet on it's own right HERE.

I was VERY excited about my "Use Something New".
I was generously gifted with a Cricut Explore Air Machine.
Yay for me!
No more finger cramps from all that fussy cutting.
So for my first print then cut project I made this card.
It did an incredible job of cutting out all those little bits
...even the antennae on the bees.
So much fun!

Other Materials Used:
Papers: Recollections - Kraft Cardstock;
Pearls: Kaisercraft - Yellow;
Shimmer: atyou Spica Marker - Clear;
Jute: My Stash.
