Fun with FabScraps - Joy to the World Collection

Hello, my friends!

I've got some fun FabScraps projects to share with you today!
These are all using the wonderful new Joy to the World Collection!
I hope you enjoy them! :o)

First up:

JOY TO THE WORLD COLLECTION
Peace on Earth Candle Card

For this project you will need:
·       FabScraps Joy to the World Paper Range C99 004
·       FabScraps Joy to the World Stickers ST99 001
·       FabScraps Joy to the World Stickers ST99 002
·       White Cardstock
·       Label Die (Spellbinders Nestabilites – Labels Eight)
·       Cricut Expore Air
·       Tea Light Card Cut File for base: http://shop.loriwhitlock.com/tea-light-christmas-card
·       Votive Candles - 3

Instructions:
1.    I created the card base from cut file using C99 004 paper. Alternately, google any hand cut template. There are many available.
2.    Die cut 2 labels from white cardstock: one for inside of card, and one for outside of card.
3.    From Stickers ST99 001, take 3 Angels sticker. Adhere to center of one die-cut label. Adhere this label to center of outside of card.
4.    From Stickers ST99 002, take Peace on Earth Sticker. Adhere to piece of white cardstock and trim out. Adhere in place on front of card, as shown in photo.
5.    Adhere second die-cut label to inside of card. This offers a place to stamp a sentiment or to write a personal message.
6.    Place three votives inside box. Enjoy!

JOY TO THE WORLD COLLECTION
Card Caddy Gift Set

For this project you will need:
·       FabScraps Joy to the World Paper Range C99 008
·       FabScraps Joy to the World Carder’s Pack MC99 001A
·       Cricut Expore Air Machine
·       Stationary Box Cut File for Base: http://shop.loriwhitlock.com/stationery-box-2/
·       Shimmer Cardstock for Box Base – 4 - 12” X 12”
·       Kraft Cardstock – 4 – 8 ½” X 11” for card bases
·       Envelopes – 8 – A2 size
·       Ink (Distress Ink – Walnut Stain)
·       Red Wired Ribbon
Instructions:
1.    Create the stationary box using the cut file and the shimmer cardstock. Any cardstock will work but the shimmer will make it more special. Decorate the box lid with the papers from the Carder’s Pack MC99 001A. Refer to photo for papers used. Ink edges of papers and box.
2.    Cut kraft cardstock into 8 - A2 size card bases (4 ¼” X 5 ½”).  I made some side fold and some tent fold.
3.    Using papers from Carder’s Pack MC001A, cut 8 card fronts (4” X 5 ¼”). I cut one from each paper but you can choose your favorites. Ink the edges, and adhere to card bases.
4.    Fussy cut the tags from the C99 008 paper, and punch out the holes.
5.    Tie a big loopy bow from the red wired ribbon. Adhere it in place on the lid of the box, wrapping the tails down the sides.
6.    Assemble as shown in the photo. The 8 envelopes fit in the back pocket, the cards fit in the middle one, and the tags stand up in the front. If you are gifting this to a crafty friend, you could also include: die-cuts, bling, ribbons, etc.  Enjoy!

OMGoodness! Such beautiful gift sets! Loving the card caddy with pretty tags and that fabulous bow handle--how cool is that!!! The tea light box is adorable! I love the 3 little angels. I have a photo of 2 of my nieces and my daughter dressed up as angles for the Christmas Play one year, I put it in that frame that has those adorable 3 angels on top. Soooo cute!
